Sherlock Holmes
Last week, 5th graders worked on Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. First, we read The Blue Diamond and we wrote a Crime Report. To continue with, we worked on the play, learnt some vocabulary and ended with a song. Finally, we watched the play The Hound of Baskervilles, which was performed by IPA productions. At the end of the play, the children asked many questions to the actors. The pupils enjoyed both the reader and the play and now, they know about the most important detective in Great Britain.
